After over ten years in Education/Academic Publishing
working as a Learning Consultant, I have returned to my roots--writing. The young woman who pursued and completed her
Master's in English Literature a million (okay, 18) years ago has reemerged
(though exponentially older and slightly wiser). I am working now as a freelance writer and
editor and am available to tackle a variety of projects. My background in Academic Publishing has
familiarized me with educational writing/editing, from white papers to marketing
materials to copy and developmental editing.
Additionally, I would be thrilled to assist you with promotional
materials for your business or non-profit (digital and print). Oh, and plain old general assignment
journalism works for me too. When not
writing, reading, or raising my seven year old,
I am practicing yoga and rescuing animals. I welcome the challenge of developing written
materials of all kinds, but I must admit, if you are looking for a sports
